Christmas

I love everything about Christmas. My favorite Christmas movie is "A Christmas Story". My favorite Christmas song is jingle bells. The best present I have ever got was my XBOX 360. I love Christmas food and my favorite dish is probably broccoli casserole. Last year I spent Christmas in Hawaii and it was awesome. Christmas is by far the best holiday ever created.

Christmas season

Christmas is the greatest holiday on Earth. I enjoy many different things about this time of year. The things I like most about the season is presents, food, and family fellowship. The only negative that I can think of for Christmas is the cold weather. I love snow, but am not a fan of the cold weather. Cold weather does not even begin to bring the happiness I experience down, though.

Game

My partner and I are creating a game called Frank's Funeral. In this game players will be required to choose between three building and pick which one Frank Lloyd Wright constructed. After you choose each building you will be given information on that building, and a clue to what the next one is like. At the end of the game you have to assassinate Frank Lloyd Wright.

school lunch

In my opinion, the food available during our lunches is pathetic. Whenever I arrived at this school, lunch was bearable, but now they have taken away everything that I once enjoyed during my lunches here at SVHS. It started with the school store then moved to the salad dressing, and now the state has taken away anything that has a decent taste. I guess all of these changes started whenever Huntington was named the most unhealthy city in America, but for those of us who do not fall under this obesity crisis we deserve better, much better.

School improvement

I think there are many things that could help improve our school, but one of the most important changes that need to be made is we need more teachers. I have taken some classes here that are way to crammed and this makes it very difficult for a teacher to do his or her job. I once took a Trig. class that had over 30 people in it and it created many problems. No one got enough attention in that class and it lead to poor results as an entire class.

Favorite Cartoon

As a child I loved many different cartoons, but my favorite of all would have to be Dragon Ball Z. Dragon Ball Z was an action show that featured many unique characters. The main character was Goku who was a Sajin from a distant planet. Goku was sent to destroy the Earth, but ended up protecting the Earth from many distant threats. This show lasted a very long time and to my knowledge is still going on to this day, but I do not watch it anymore.

Thanksginving

Over the Thanksgiving break I plan on spending a lot of time on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 2. When I am not doing that I will probably be hanging out with friends and family. Also, on the day of Thanksgiving I plan on eating my own body weight in food. It is going to be a fun break.

Progress

As of right now our team (Scandinavian Slug Slashers) is still in the design stages of our game. We have discovered which gorilla we will be using and it looks pretty good. It is still going to take us a lot more time to finish because games like this are not easy to make. I still think that the game is going to be good.

Afghanistan

I believe that we should send more troops into Afghanistan until the situation there cools down. From watching the news there you can see that things are not going well, and Obama has been asking for a long time for more support there. Without more troops I don't see the situation in Afghanistan getting any better anytime soon. We need to figure out a plan as soon as possible before more American lives are lost.

Favorite Teacher

My favorite teacher is Mr. Reed. I have had him in many classes in the past three years and have enjoyed each class. His classroom has a relaxed environment, but he still makes you work hard for your grade. He teaches drafting classes, and there are six of them. I am in the process of completing my fifth and by the end of the year I will have completed them all.

progress

As of right now our group has not made that much progress. All we have done right now are a few drawings of our gorilla and the forest. We are going to start working on game play next week probably. Once we have completed this game it is going to be amazing, but the most important thing is that people learn about the destruction of the forest.

Favorite toy

My favorite toy as a child was a power ranger toy that came with all five rangers, which when they all came together they could join to form one awesome fighter. This toy was so cool because of the fact that they could all join together. I once thought that I lost one of the rangers and was heartbroken, but I then found him in my room because I had left him to defend it while I was gone. It was the greatest toy ever.

I love many different kinds of food- Chinese, seafood, Italian, burgers, french fries, baconators, Japanese, Greek, American, German, and Mexican I love it all. One of my favorites is crab legs, they are simply amazing when dipped in melted butter. I also love pizza, Papa John's pizza is probably my favorite in that category. My personal favorite Mexican restaurant is El Tenampa, which is located close to home which makes it convenient.

What I want to teach

In our game my partner and I hope to teach people about the dangers of destroying all of the world's forests. There are many ways we intend to do this, such as having a few questions throughout the game about it, and adding facts at the end of each level. This will help make the game fun as well as educational for players. If it all comes together right, this will be an amazing game.

Future plans

As of right now I plan on going to WVU and study engineering there. I'm not really sure on what kind on engineering I want to study yet because you don't have to decide until your second year of college. I eventually want to have kids and be married, but that is way down the road. other than that I don't really have any other plans for the future because I try to take it one day at a time.

my hero

I have several heroes in many different things, so I will tell you about my sports hero- Randy Moss. Randy came from a very poor area of the state of West Virginia and has become one of the NFL's greatest offensive weapons. Throughout his life he faced a lot of scrutiny and adversity and has overcome it all. When he first arrived in the NFL he was depicted as a trouble maker, but has cleaned his reputation and is now seen by the New England Patriots as a hard worker and model citizens. He is the MAN.

Building

If I had a chance to visit any building in the world in any time period I would choose the Temple of Artemis. The Temple of Artemis was considered one of the seven ancient wonders of the world and today only fragments remain of this once amazing structure. The entire temple was made of marble, except for the roof. This must have been an amazing structure to see.

prototype assignment

I think that my group did an awesome job at the assignment. We came up with some great ideas and the artwork looked good. We came up with some good ideas on how to incorporate facts about the forest and the danger that results from it being cut down, and the animals that lose their habitats because of it.

Space ship

I thought that the space ship I made in drafting looked pretty cool. We were not allowed to use other drawings to design our space ship after, which made the assignment harder. It took me a while to think of a design, but in the end I liked my design.

Favorite Movie

I have many favorite movies, but my most recent favorite is The Dark Knight. The Dark Knight is the latest movie in the Batman saga. This movie deals with Batman fighting the infamous Joker. This movie has some of the greatest action scenes ever created, backed up by a fantastic story line to create one of the coolest movies ever. This movie reinforced my belief that Batman is by far the coolest superhero of all time.

Favorite TV show

My favorite TV show Sportcenter. Sportcenter is a show on ESPN that keeps me up to date on all of the latest sports news. There is also a segment called the Top 10 plays that shows all of the best plays of the day before. There are many different host on the show, so you are not always listening to the same person. Sportcenter is by far the greatest show of all time.

Progress

I believe that I am getting much better at designing games and working in Adobe Flash. I had some experience using Flash coming into this class, so I was not terrible at first anyways, but i have learned a lot more since being in this class. I think as this class goes on I will continue to get better and better at using Flash and designing games.

Favorite game

I have two favorite games. My favorite multi-player game of all time is Call of Duty 4: Modern Warfare, which is a game that takes place in modern times where you have to defeat terrorist groups. Call of Duty is very fun to play with a large group of friends because up to 18 people can play at one time. My favorite offline game is The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, which is an amazing adventure game where you have to stop the evil of Ganandorf from taking over all of Hyrule.

Favorite holiday

My favorite holiday is Christmas. Christmas is by far the greatest holiday of all because everyone receives and gives all kinds of present, the entire family gets together, and you get to feast all day long. Christmas is also a time to remember the birth of Jesus Christ, which makes it a very important date on the Christian calender as well. I love Christmas.

3 wishes

If I somehow found a genie lamp and had 3 wishes to use I would pick: an unlimited bank account, world peace, and to be the smartest person in the world. The first wish would be so i could get anything that I ever needed to buy. The second wish would be cool because you would never have to worry about being killed and countries would no longer have to have a military so they could focus their money on things like poverty and hunger. The third wish would be so I could always make the right decision and would spend my money on important things.

time travel

If I could travel to one time period I would travel to the medieval times in Europe. I would probably be the greatest warrior of all time, so I would start to carry out attacks on every civilization so I could rule the world. I would probably start my conquest in England and continue until my kingdom ruled everything in the world. It would be awesome to go back to that time.

which civilization

If I had to choose between the Greeks, Romans, or Egyptians in terms of engineering and architechture, I would choose the Romans. The Romans have contrubuted many things to modern day society. One of the Romans greatest inventions was concrete, which is used in many things today. The Romans also made many roadways throughout all of Europe which was a very advanced thing to do in their time period.

health care

In my opinion, health care should be universal. To me this is a very easy question because all the health care systems that are ranked above are own are, for the most part, are universal systems. Many people are currently apposed to this idea right now because they do not know how well the universal system will work. For a great movie on this topic I suggest the movie "Sicko".

Animal

If I had to pick which animal I wanted to be, I would have to choose a cheetah. First of all, a cheetah is the fastest land animal on earth. They also look really cool with their spots. The only downside to being a cheetah is that i might be hunted in Africa, which would suck. Overall though, being a cheetah would be totally awesome.

What I want to do when I grow up

When I grow up I want to be an engineer. At this time I am not sure which kind of engineer. Next year, I plan to head to West Virginia University to continue to learn about the engineering field. The reason I want to go into this field is because it is interesting and well paying. The engineering field also requires a strong math background and science background. WVU also has good engineering programs as well.

favorite building

My favorite building is the Empire State Building. Located in New York City, the Empire State Building is famous for being the tallest building in the world for more than 40 years. It has appeared in many movies, and in the famous movie "King Kong" an ape climbs to the top. It is now the 15th tallest building in the world, and is still very famous.

What I am designing

I am currently designing a 2004 Scion XB in AutoCAD. Right now work is going pretty good and I will have it completed by Friday of this week.

what I did during summer break

Over summer break I spent most of my time preparing for this years football season. I also spent a couple of weeks with my youth group doing mission work. Overall, it was a pretty good summer break.

On Friday i traveled with my football team to Huntington High school, and assisted in the domination that followed. The rest of my weekend was spent hanging out with friends and sleeping.

Pokemon Character

I would chose charmander because once he reaches his full potential as Charzard he becomes one of the most powerful pokemon of all time. He can use a variety of fire attacks that will destroy any opponent that comes in his way.

Video game character

My favorite video game character is Link (The Legend of Zelda). Link uses many weapons throughout his journey including: The sword of time, hero's bow, and his hook-shot. He is by far the coolest person of all time.
